Our Practice

One of the core tenets of Chiropractic revolves around the fact that the health of your nervous system is the foundation for the health of all the systems in your body.

Your nervous system has to function free of interference for you to function at the top of your game! Your body has an innate intelligence that forms the foundation on which it can self-regulate, heal, and restructure itself. This innate capacity can only function if there is no interference to it.

The structural, neurological and physiological well-being of your nervous system depends on your spinal health.

The ability for you to regulate in your environment of function depends on how aligned your spine is.

Restoring the Brain Body Connection is the foundation every Chiropractor builds their patients' treatment plan on. It is the basis of every conversation with our patients.

Resolution of pain and restoration of function is why you come see a Chiropractor, but that is not our only goal — its just a step towards the ultimate goal. Freeing your body's innate capacity to do better and be better, is.

Once you recognize your brain and body's potential to work as a unit, there is literally no turning back!

At our practice, we don't just treat symptoms - we help you achieve long-term physical, neural, and mental health goals. Whether you're looking to improve your athletic performance or simply live pain-free, we're here to help you unleash your body's full potential.

Maintenance of spinal health is a priority. At AMNAHBHATTI Chiropractic and Wellness we work together as a team to make sure you are enveloped in a safe and informed environment. We prepare you for your upcoming decades with a game plan in hand.

Optimal Spinal Health = Optimal Neural Health = Optimal You.

  • The Gonstead Chiropractor goes beyond what many chiropractors consider a spinal assessment by conducting a thorough analysis of your spine using five criteria to detect the presence of a vertebral subluxation complex. Visualisation, Instrumentation, Static Palpation, Motion Palpation, and X-Ray Analysis.

  • The Diversified technique stands out from other chiropractic methods due to its focus on restoring the optimal movement and alignment of the spine and joints. It is widely regarded as the most effective corrective technique in chiropractic practice.

  • A spring-loaded tool called an Activator allows for a quick, low-force impulse at specific points. The tool is so quick that the body's muscles are less likely to tense in response, and resist treatment.

  • We analyse how the length of the legs correlates to the pelvis and spine. This technique uses a 'drop table' to make an adjustment, often using multiple thrusts.

  • Flexion Distraction is performed on a segmented table that moves as your chiropractor slowly manipulates your spine. The manipulation, combined with the movements of the table, stretches and decompresses your spine, relieving your back, leg, neck, or arm pain.

  • Active Release Technique is a non-invasive manual therapy technique that works to correct soft tissue restrictions that cause pain and mobility issues. The goal is to break down scar tissue and adhesions in order to optimise function in the body.

My Techniques

"There is a vast difference between treating the effects versus adjusting the cause!"

Daniel. D Palmer - The Discoverer of Chiropractic

Historically, Chiropractors have been known for using adjustments (the famous ‘crack’) to treat the spine. With this method of care, each patient gets the same treatment and goes for regular care, often for extended periods of time or indefinitely. There are a number of chiropractors who still practice in the traditional manner.

I am trained and practice as an evidence-based (modern) Chiropractor. Contrary to ‘traditional chiropractic’, I diagnose and treat conditions throughout the body, not just the spine. The entire neuro-musculo-skeletal system, to be more accurate.
Bottom line - I’m not one for tradition when it comes to my practice.

I use a number of tools and strategies to address my patients’ concerns. I believe in quality client-centred care, striving to get people better, faster – so their nervous system learning stays in that regulated zone it performs the best in. Each one of my patients is unique, and my treatment plans are tailored to their body’s preferences and needs.

Adjustments. It’s not magic. It works because trained Chiropractors go through years of anatomy instruction to understand joint play and human biomechanics. It’s not about getting that crack that YouTube is training your brain to recognize as a dopamine boost. It is a small, quick, purposeful, and well-positioned thrust placed on a joint to remove interference to proper nerve flow.

Now that your brain and body are exchanging information better, you are better able to regulate, and maintain that regulation.

Consider coming in for an assessment:

  • If you have a condition or injury that affects a joint, muscle, or nerve, or are looking to improve performance in an activity or sport

  • If you’re looking to align your spine, regulate your nervous system and elevate yourself in terms of function and adaptability to your environment

Come in and get assessed, understand what makes you work, what you can improve on and how to use the tools and techniques we provide you to improve the YOU that is waiting to emerge.

We look forward to walking with you – every step of the way – on this transformative journey.
